Dear Lisa,
I am e-mailing to you personally the combination or cocktail of
anti-nausea medications that has worked so well for my Barb and many
others. Pls keep in mind you need prescription from your Doc, but
generally there is no objection.
Taxol/Carboplatin is a combination of chemotherapy drugs. Zofran is an
anti-nausea medication generally administered IV just prior to treatment
of chemotherapy. It is also administered in pill form for a period of
days subsequent to chemotherapy. We find that while zofran works for
some, the combination that we have experienced works better in most
cases that we know. So good luck, I will be e-mailing you the combo
right after this message. Let me know how it goes for your Brother.
My wife had 9 treatments of TAxol/Carboplatin. It is a protocol of
treatment for many forms of cancers. Good luck and God Bless
Marty
