[MOL] Basil Cell Carcinoma

My brother (7 years younger) just had a growth removed which was basil
cell.  The question I have is one of genitics - is this something I
should get carefully checked out.  I have some small growths on my face,
which my doctor says not to worry about.  However, I don't know whether
or not to worry.  More info would be useful.  Thanks.
