Dear Kristi,
I know nothing of this disease, but if you call the National Cancer
Institute at 1-800-4cancer they will send you the protocal or pdq's
(phsysician data query) which is layman understandable about the
disease, how to treat in terms of chemo, radiation, etc. Also if you
request they will send you information about side effects from
treatments, and any and all other related information about the disease
and alternatives. Ask for books on nutrition, exercise. All this is
free of charge and usually it is received by snail mail in 2 days.
You may also wish to ask them for 2nd opinions in your area. they have
a comprehensive list of hospitals who pass stringent qualifications to
be on their comprehensive list and all have to delve into research as
well. Hope this helps
God Bless you
