RE: [MOL] blood stem cell transplant

Hi Maude,
I have 2 friends that just completed the stem cell transplant. They are both
doing wonderful. One of them had it in St. Paul, MN and the other at the
University of Kentucky Med Center. They both are doing wonderful. Just check
out the facility and their experience with the stem cell program. The
University of Ky, has a wonderful center. St. Paul has been doing wonderful
also. My oncologist started the stem cell program here in St. Paul. If you
need references or names of physicians at either of these facilities let me
know. The program is well researched and has been a great sucess with breast
cancer patients. One of my friends breast cancer was in the bone and she is
doing wonderful. Be sure the facility is highly experienced with the stem
cell transplant. I myself went to M.D. Anderson for my cancer and love the
care I received. My cancer was very rare. If you need any of this
information my e-mail address is: ( metal_detecting@msn.com). I hope this
info helps you and please don't hesitate to write me. Also my phone number is
612-768-9171 and I would be glad to speak with you concerning this. Take care
and the best of luck with your cancer.

Dr says I should have stem cell transplant for breast cancer. Scary ! If
you have had one, will you write and let me know what it's like. Did you
have any permanent organ or nerve damage? Do you think it has extended your
life? Thanks. Maude
