We have decided to close down CancerSupportChat at our location on the
TalkCity server and we are in the process of testing out a new location on
another IRC server. Due to a lack of cooperation with
TalkCity, we were unable to continue operations on their server and efforts
to work out matters have been unsuccessful. We hope to locate to a better
permanent location where cancer patients, caregivers,
and others with an interest in cancer support can visit and feel
comfortable. We appreciate the support of those who visited the
CancerSupportChat room at TalkCity and we encourage all of you to make use
of our CancerHelp web site and our cancer support group mailing lists.
