Dear Jim,
My Barbara was diagnoses with a CUP (a.k.a. carcinoma of an unknown
primary, CUP.) There are about 2-3% of all cancer patients, survivors,
that are diagnosed as this. Where the doctors cannot find a primary
tumor. It is because the cells, when biopsied, are poorly
differentiated. Take heart though, if the tumor is insitu and not
metastasis (spread) chances are the primary is no longer there and you
might have to start some sort of protocal based on the results of blood
tests, tumor markers. If you write to me personally I may be able to
give you more information.
My best to you and your family,
God Bless You
