I am a cancer survivor and former patient of M.D. Anderson Cancer Institute.
I called today to M.D. to find out about the research on the green tea capsule
equal to 49 cups of green tea. To qualify for this study you must have a
solid tumor that is not treatable with chemo-radiation-surgery. This study is
for patients with tumors that can be monitored for reaction to the green tea.
The M.D. Anderson capsule formula is not available to other patients. They
are trying to regulate the dosage and determine what dosage works on tumors.
There is a phone number for anyone who qualifies and has a non treatable
tumor. They said they are receiving calls from everyone wanting the green tea
capsule. I tryed to explain I wanted it as a preventative treatment. Once
you have cancer you will do anything to prevent it from re-occurring. The
research number is 1-800-392-1611. The lady I spoke to was very helpful even
though I did not qualify for the study. Please only call if you qualify. She
said the calls coming in are unreal and she is wanting only the ones with no
alternative and have tried tradition treatment. I hope this helps clear up
any questions concerning the green tea research study. My theory is don't
give up hope there is something someone knows that may help you. I lived with
cancer, I was not dying with cancer. Look to God for answers in your
prayers. Prayer is the best medicine there is. No medicine made me feel good
the way my prayers did.
