Dear Bill,
I have a friend who just had a similar disease. Rare I believe. But she
has had surgery and radiation and chemotherapy and she is doing well.
Her treatments came from the City of HOpe In Arcata, California.
May I suggest you call them and maybe they will review the medical
records if you send to them. They are extraordinary in this field. You
might also want to call the National Cancer Institute at 1-800-4cancer
to see if there are comprehensive hospitals that treat this disease.
Also ask them for P.D.Q's (physician data query) that explain and define
the type of disease and the recommended treatments. Also ask them for
clinical trials that are being run now for this area.
My best to you and your nephew and family.
God Bless You
Marty Auslander
