Re: [MOL] Navelbine (Tricia)

Tricia: I know what you're saying. We had the same advise- don't do
anything until the next problem appears. Not satisfied with waiing for
the next problem- Navelbine had just been approved by the FDA- we
decided to give it a go- and try Navelbine which has less toxic related
problems than the more potent drugs- nad administer it once a month- 38
mg- which is a little less than the usual 45mg. We had some problems
early on with the blood counts- and vein irritation. But we learned how
to infuse better and fortunately her system began to accomodate to the
drug. The lesions have remained stable (no significant size change) in
the 20 months since she has been using the navelbine. This is for sure
no scientific promise or indication of anything- is it the navelbine?
Is this going to continue. Our oncologist says- if it sworks
