Stan's message was very important for a couple of reasons. First I didn't
know
they gave Navelbine by injection and Second that they continued treatment
after ONC said things were clear for now.
Talk with you ONC about Navelbine injections before something else happens.
Its great that you are in remission, and it was wise to take a couple extra
chemo treatments, but I would be looking for some insurance and Stans
story looks like a good place to start.
My brother has been on Navelbine since Mar 1997, along with Cisplatin. I
worry about his system and how much longer he can take this, but so far
nothing has spread (he was suppose to have ct last week, he missed his
appt and now it will be this Wed). I will keep my fingers crossed that
he still doesn't have mets anywhere.
