hello all,
wanted to share with you all a very interesting article in today's (sept 14)
issue of the chicago tribune on a rethinking of how cancer occurs and spreads
and why new genetic treatment is going to lead to a quick cure, within 20
years.
" Cancer's Nemesis: The Suicide Gene", by Ronald Kotulak
Details how scientists now understand that cancer occurs because a cell's
built-in suicide trigger doesn't go off as nature planned when a cell turns
cancerous, and that this happens because free-radicals stop apoptosis. they
are finding out that free-radicals can be killed off with vitamins,
non-steroid anti-inflammatories, and beta carotenes. I had always heard fhat
eating right was supposed to help slow cancer, but now I understand the
reason and it makes sense. I am sending this to my brother in hopes that
changing his eating will help him. I recommend everyone pull up this article
at the Chicago Tribune's address: www.tms.tribune.com, or
www.chicago.tribune.com........good luck, all
