"thoughts for today"



Hi Everyone,

If you just got a blank message from me, please just ignore it.  Not a
technical problem---just a hand-eye corordination problem (clicked on
Send instead of Edit).  What can I say, I'm a little slow today.  :-)
Anyway, here are my "thoughts for today":


 		The present is what slips by us while we're pondering
		the past and worrying about the future.

 

 		Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only
		enpties today of its strength.



Time is just too short and precious to be wasting it on useless, and
energy-zapping worry.  When I catch myself doing that, I need to stop
and regroup my thoughts.  We ARE in control of our thoughts!  We may not
be able to stop some thoughts from comming into our mind, but we sure
can keep them from staying!  Replace those negative thoughts with
something good!  This may take a little practice at first, but the more
you do it, the easier it gets, and the quicker you even *remember* to do
it!  

Well, that's enought wisdom for one day.  After all, it is Sunday, a day
of rest, and even our brain needs a rest sometimes.
