My father has just entered hospital in Ireland and they have found a
tumor which is constricting his oesophagus at a point about 2 ribs
above the bottom of the breastbone. Can anyone please send me as a
matter of urgency any information regarding treatment. His doctor is
prescribing major surgery within the next 3 to 4 weeks. As far as he
has been told the tumor has not spread to anywhere else.
