Here is something I thought would be interesting....

The Group Room Premieres in New York, on  WOR 710 am from 2 to 4pm, this
Sunday, February 11, 1996.

WHAT IS IT?
-----------
The GroupRoom is a two-hour weekly call-in talk show: by and for people dealing
with cancer. The GroupRoom will debut this Sunday, February 11 on  WOR 710 AM 
from 2 to 4pm in the Greater New York area. This radio reception extends from
Washington DC to the Boston area, with some coverage inland. 

WHERE IS IT?
------------
Some local stations also are giving coverage. While there are probably more
radio stations involved, the ones I know is:

NYC and surrounding areas.....WOR    710 am
Philadelphia/New Jersey........WJIC 1510 am
Tampa/St. Pete.................WLKF1430 am

New stations will be added to the list of syndicators on an ongoing basis.
An ongoing list of syndicators is being compiled and available by voicemail
at: (818) 508-5657.  Eventually, this information will also be on the Web.

HOW TO REACH THE GROUP ROOM
---------------------------
The call-in number during broadcast times (11-1pm PT/ 2-4pm ET) is:
        1 800 GRP-ROOM

The Group Room will broadcast will be accessed via  "live audio feed" at 
some point AFTER the broadcast on:
         http://www.premrad.com

Comments and suggestions (this will not be accessed DURING the broadcast) can

WHO IS THE GROUP ROOM

Selma Schimmel, long time survivor of breast cancer and founder of Vital
Options, a support organization for Young Adults with cancer, is the host of
The Group Room.  Joining her each week will be group facilitator, Halina
Irving, M.F.C.C., Dr.'s Michael Van Scoy-Mosher, Medical Oncologist and Leslie
Botnick, Radiation Ocologist.  Also in the Group Room are participants who are
currently dealing with cancer.  They are all waiting for listener calls,
listener stories, listener participation.
